Indexical Drawing is expanded from the work of researchers such as Julie Leah and Tim Knowles, and in my research, removes all human control, foregrounding the traces made by more-than-human agents as a mode of drawing, shifting the focus from human-centric mark-making to ecological and symbiotic processes. Here, I document the artfulness of traces created by reductive slug and snail grazing patterns and additive iridescent locomotion mucus trails as a mode of indexical drawing.
