Correlative Drawing is a term I have created to describe the linear traces common to all life. Correlative drawing expands the boundaries of drawing, including the mark-making within living systems beyond humans. Here, I document leaf-mining larvae mining lines inscribed into leaves, expanding drawing into ecological processes that foster kinship and new ways of seeing. Correlative drawing is positioned here in relation to the following modes of drawing (indexical and spatial) relevant to ecology as art.
